Storage facility for a kitchen in a modern way

Storage Space & Ergonomics

Kitchens are the most-used rooms in the home, yet they are after not well organized. You may be kitchen to ever have there is too much stuff in the kitchen to ever have hope of conquering the clutter. With a little effort and innovation, and our helpful tips, you can transform your kitchen from a war zone into a food preparation zone within the kitchen interior.

Kitchen storage is now more than ever geared toward keeping related items together for easy access. Putting your pantry next to the refrigerator makes unloading groceries easier-all you foods going to one place. Grouping like-sized items in similar locations makes it possible to adjust shelves to fit the highlight of those items.

Place things you use every day within easy reach; put less used items at the back of shelves or in top cupboards. Keep the kitchen a kitchen; if you’re short on space, store light bulbs, tools, cleaning supplies, and pet food elsewhere.

Install small lazy Susans in cupboards to make it easier to find jars and cans. Screw in cup hooks under shelves to make use of otherwise wasted space. Equip base cabinets with pull-out shelves or bins to make the contents more accessible. Pare down your kitchen possessions. If you haven’t used something for a couple of years, maybe you don’t need it all.

Get Hung Up

Clear space in your cupboards by hanging as many items as you canInstall small racks on the wall or over the stove, and put large shelving units on the back of the pantry door. Don’t forget that insides of cabinet door can also function as space to hang items; consider installing a spice rack or other small shelving unit there. Wall or ceiling racks for pots also do wonders to utilize’’ dead space’’ near the wall or ceiling. This space can be used to store large pots and pans which are used once in a while.

A shelf with hooks offers similar diversity, with bonus shelving space. In addition to ordering readymade racks, you can make your own from pegboard. Simply screw pegboard into the well or the back of a door, making sure to leave space between the door and pegboard for hook installation. Then get yourself the necessary hooks and store away!
